Join us for the Lake Oswego Lake Run!

Saturday, May 2, 2020

Now in its 44th year, the Lake Oswego Lake Run is known for its hilly terrain and breath-taking views!

The 2020 Lake Run will again feature a 10K run, 5K run/walk, Kid’s dash and the ever-popular Lake Run Festival.

Start the morning with the Lake Run Festival, complete with a DJ, beer garden, plant sale, food carts, and crafts for the kids. Stroll through exhibitor booths and visit nearby restaurants for a quick beverage or snack. The Lake Run Festival will take place in Millennium Plaza from 8am to noon.

This year’s 10K will take runners back to the lake route that everyone loves to hate.  Runners will climb McVey Avenue and proceed along South Shore Boulevard around Oswego Lake to Iron Mountain Boulevard where the finish will be down hill onto Evergreen Street at Millennium Plaza Park.

The 5K will meander around Lakewood Bay and onto North Shore Road giving runners and walkers alike a grand view of the main lake.  Participants will continue on Iron Mountain Boulevard and head towards the finish on Evergreen Street.

The Kids’ dash will begin at the finish area on Evergreen Street and 2nd Street with a quick two block dash that turns around and finishes under the finish line arch.

Proceeds from the 44th annual Lake Run will benefit Northwest Housing Alternatives.

The Annual Lake Run is more than a race…

…it’s fun for the entire family and a chance to help those in need!
